Refund Policy

Elite Specialty Automotive maintains a strict refund and chargeback policy. By authorizing payment for services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.

1. No Unauthorized Chargebacks
Customers agree not to initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with a bank, card issuer, or payment provider for services rendered without first contacting Elite Specialty Automotive and allowing a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue.

2. Legal Nature of Chargebacks
A chargeback is a consumer protection mechanism intended to address fraud or billing errors. It is not a substitute for direct dispute resolution and is not a legal determination of fault or wrongdoing by the merchant.
Customers acknowledge that:

Filing a chargeback for services that were authorized and performed may constitute a misuse of the chargeback process

Chargebacks do not void signed agreements, acknowledgments, or completed services

Disputes based solely on dissatisfaction, regulatory outcomes, or third-party decisions are not valid grounds for a chargeback

3. Unlawful or Bad-Faith Chargebacks
Initiating a chargeback under false pretenses—including, but not limited to, falsely claiming fraud, non-authorization, or non-delivery—may be considered bad-faith or unlawful conduct.
Depending on the circumstances, such actions may expose the customer to:

Civil liability for breach of contract or unjust enrichment

Collection actions for unpaid balances

Recovery of damages and costs permitted by law

Referral to financial institutions for suspected payment fraud
Nothing in this policy limits Elite Specialty Automotive’s right to pursue lawful remedies available under Wisconsin law and applicable federal law.

4. Merchant Rights and Remedies
Elite Specialty Automotive reserves the right to:

Dispute and contest all chargebacks with supporting documentation

Submit invoices, work orders, signed acknowledgments, SMS/email confirmations, photographs, and regulatory records

Enforce contractual payment obligations regardless of chargeback outcomes

Refuse future services to customers who initiate chargebacks
-
Pursue lawful collection or legal remedies for unpaid balances
A chargeback does not extinguish a customer’s payment obligation when services were authorized and rendered.
5. Finality of Services
Because automotive services involve labor, time, and third-party costs:

All labor, diagnostic, installation, calibration, inspection, and consultation fees are final and non-refundable once performed

Completion of service constitutes acceptance of work performed

Disagreement with outcomes, regulatory determinations, or third-party requirements does not justify a chargeback
6. Ignition Interlock Device (IID) Services
All IID-related services are strictly non-refundable, including:

Installation, calibration, servicing, and removal
-
Lockouts, violations, rolling retests, or missed calibrations
-
WisDOT, court, or monitoring authority decisions
-
Vehicle-related issues affecting IID operation
Elite Specialty Automotive is not responsible for compliance outcomes and will vigorously contest any chargeback related to IID services.

7. Credit Card Processing Fees

Credit card processing fees are non-refundable

If a refund is approved at our discretion, processing fees will be deducted from the refunded amount

8. Deposits, Missed Appointments, and No-Shows

Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing
-
Missed appointments, late arrivals, or cancellations are not grounds for refunds or chargebacks

Chargebacks related to no-shows or late cancellations will be disputed

9. Parts, Storage, and Administrative Fees

Installed or used parts are non-returnable and non-refundable
-
Storage fees, towing charges, and administrative fees are non-refundable
-
Chargebacks related to storage or abandoned vehicles will be contested with documentation
-

10. Resolution Process
All refund requests or disputes must be submitted directly to Elite Specialty Automotive. Any approved resolution will be handled internally and not through third-party payment disputes.
