1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website https://elitespecialtyautomotive.com (the “Site”) and any services provided by Elite Specialty Automotive (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing the Site, contacting us, scheduling services, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our Site or services.

2. Services

Elite Specialty Automotive provides automotive-related services, including but not limited to inspection, installation, calibration, repair, diagnostics, and Ignition Interlock Device (IID) installation, servicing, calibration, and removal.

All services are subject to availability and may change without notice.

3. Appointments and Estimates

  • Appointments are subject to confirmation and availability.

  • Estimates are provided in good faith based on available information at the time and are not guarantees of final cost.

  • Additional issues discovered during service may result in revised estimates, which will be communicated when reasonably possible.

4. Payments

  • Payment is due at the time services are rendered unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • We accept payment methods made available at the time of service.

  • A processing fee may be applied to credit card transactions. This fee will not exceed our cost of processing and will be disclosed at the time of payment.

  • Late or unpaid balances may result in service delays, additional fees, storage charges, or refusal of future service.

5. Cancellations and No-Shows

  • Appointment cancellations should be made with reasonable notice.

  • Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in refusal of future appointments or require a deposit to schedule future services.

6. SMS and Communications

By providing your phone number, you consent to receive service-related phone calls and SMS text messages, including appointment reminders, service updates, and billing notifications.

Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.
You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP.

7. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information regarding your vehicle and service needs

  • Ensure the vehicle is legally operable and accessible at the time of service

  • Remove personal belongings from your vehicle prior to service

  • Promptly pick up your vehicle once services are completed

Elite Specialty Automotive is not responsible for loss of or damage to personal items left in vehicles.

8. Warranties, Disclaimers, and Service Conditions

  • Services are provided “as is” unless otherwise stated in writing.

  • Any manufacturer warranties applicable to parts are provided by the manufacturer, not Elite Specialty Automotive.

  • We make no guarantees regarding vehicle performance beyond the specific services performed.

  • For Ignition Interlock Device (IID) installations only, the vehicle’s horn and required exterior lighting must be operational at the time of service. If the horn or required lighting is inoperable, Elite Specialty Automotive will install an audible alert device as required, and an additional charge will apply.

9. Ignition Interlock Device (IID) & Wisconsin DOT Acknowledgments

By requesting, scheduling, or receiving IID-related services, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Elite Specialty Automotive is an installer and service provider only and is not the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT), the court, or a monitoring authority.

  • You are solely responsible for understanding and complying with all IID requirements imposed by WisDOT, the court, or any other governing authority, including installation deadlines, calibration intervals, reporting requirements, and removal authorization.

  • Elite Specialty Automotive does not determine eligibility, compliance status, violations, or license reinstatement.

  • We are not responsible for IID violations, lockouts, rolling retests, missed calibrations, tamper events, or reported incidents, regardless of cause.

  • Vehicle-related issues (including battery condition, electrical faults, warning lights, aftermarket equipment, or mechanical defects) may affect IID operation and are not the responsibility of Elite Specialty Automotive.

  • You are responsible for all fees associated with IID installation, calibration, servicing, removal, lockouts, violations, missed appointments, additional equipment, or rework required by WisDOT or the device provider.

  • Failure to maintain your vehicle in proper operating condition may result in additional charges or inability to perform IID services.

  • ​

10. Storage Fees and Abandoned Vehicles

  • Vehicles left at Elite Specialty Automotive after service completion, missed appointments, lockouts, or failure to pick up may be subject to daily storage fees.

  • Storage fees may begin accruing 72 hours after notification that the vehicle is ready for pickup, unless otherwise required by law.

  • Unpaid balances, including service charges and storage fees, must be paid in full before vehicle release.

  • Vehicles left unclaimed may be considered abandoned and handled in accordance with Wisconsin law, including enforcement of a mechanic’s lien and potential sale or disposal of the vehicle.

  • Elite Specialty Automotive is not responsible for damage, loss, or deterioration of vehicles left in storage beyond a reasonable period.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elite Specialty Automotive shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

  • Loss of use, loss of profits, or loss of driving privileges

  • Damages arising from pre-existing conditions, customer non-compliance, or factors beyond our control

Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

12. Website Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose

  • Attempt unauthorized access to any part of the Site or systems

  • Interfere with the Site’s operation or security

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the Site at our discretion.

 

13. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, and branding, is the property of Elite Specialty Automotive and may not be copied or used without prior written permission.

14. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. Elite Specialty Automotive is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those websites.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Updates are effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Site or our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
